Our new crankcase ventilation valve cover modifications for performance-increased MX-5 NA/NB/NBFL are finally here! The simple but very effective crankcase ventilation system was developed entirely in-house and then successfully tested on the race track. The two original outlets on the valve cover on the left and right are closed with screw plugs in M20x1.5 (direction of travel on the right, former PCV valve) and M12x1.5 (direction of travel on the left, socket next to the oil filler cap). Then the new valve cover ventilation is created with our new oil filler cap with very little back pressure. This is simply screwed on as a replacement for the original oil filler cap.
The new valve cover ventilation is then connected to our catch can with a Dash 08 line. The oil filler cap is designed in such a way that you can add oil if necessary without having to loosen the upper eyelet. Accordingly, you can proceed as usual when changing the oil or refilling the oil if necessary and you do not have to loosen any additional screw connections.

In this case, you send us your valve cover and we disassemble, clean, put the screw plugs on the sides of the valve cover and paint it for you, provided that the color wrinkle black or red is selected

Catch Can:
I already have a SPS Catch Can Kit:
If you already have one of our Catch Can Kits, this is the package for you. In that case you get the valve cover including a new feed line in Dash 08 and an adapter from Dash 08 to 1/4" to connect the new Dash line to the Catch Can
I need a fitting SPS Catch Can Kit:
Here you get the all-round carefree package if you don't have a catch can from us yet. Accordingly, you get the valve cover conversion including a complete catch can kit suitable for your new valve cover conversion

Cyclone seperator addon for SPS valve cover modification V2
SPS Motorsport cyclone separator suitable for our valve cover conversion V2. The cyclone separator is the perfect complement to our valve cover rebuild to finally put an end to the catch can filling. The cyclone separator is simply inserted into the existing line between the new oil filler cap and our SPS Catch Can. The oil is collected from the oil vapors in the cyclone separator. This means that pre-filtered oil vapors get into the catchcan and the oil is fed back into the oil pan from the cyclone separator via the lower outlet. For the connection in the oil pan we use a 3/8" connection, so if you have a newer turbo kit from us, you already have the right tap for this connection. With the NBFL engine, the engine mount on the driver's side has to be milled out a little (pictures of this are in the product images).   The kit contains the following components:   SPS cyclone separator Dash 8 connectors to connect the existing line to the cyclone separator return line to the oil pan Connection for the oil pan Heat protection material for both the Dash line as well as for the return line hose clamps and fastening material     In order to be able to install this product plug and play, you need the following parts from us: SPS Catch Can Kit for MX-5 NA/NB/NBFL SPS valve cover conversion V2 in the variant with an existing catch can Or alternatively: SPS valve cover conversion V2 in the variant without an existing catch can
