Attention! This oil pump fits only the MX-5 1.6 NA 1989-1992 with the Short Nose Crankshaft!

Stage 2 pumps increase the flow rate by milling a deeper recess in the oil pump and installing larger gears in them. This increases the pumping force, the oil pressure in the middle speed range and the possible power consumption of the oil pump gears.

It offers everything the Stage I pump has plus:
Larger gears, which are built into the oil pump and ensure compatibility with VVT
The pump is adjusted to increase the maximum hot pressure from 60 PSI to 70 PSI

We also use Boundary pumps in our private cars as well as in our racing cars. In this way we could extensively test them on racetrack and road to make sure we offer you a top product.
