Camshaft set NB 1.8 Turbo Stage 2

Camshaft set suitable for NB 1.8, which is to be converted to turbo. The camshaft set includes a set of camshafts and 16 valve springs. The supplied accessories should be installed to ensure that the camshafts function properly. The camshaft set is part of the NB 1.8 Turbo Stage 2 complete engine and the NB 1.8 Turbo Stage 2 engine parts package. There is a possibility of the camshafts touching the cylinder head during rotation. Before the final installation, it is essential to check that the camshaft has a clearance of at least 0.6mm to the cylinder head at every point. Otherwise severe damage to the camshaft and the cylinder head can occur.

CAUTION! Adjustable camshaft gears are not suitable on this engine, because the engine uses the OEM camshaft gear for rpm pickup. For use of the adjustable camshaft gear we recommend to use our 36-2 crankshaft triggerwheel in combination of a standalone ECU. 

In order to keep the price attractive, we work with reground camshafts. Accordingly, we need your original camshafts back.

Basic camshaft diameter is 33mm.
