Xtreme Clutch Stage 2 & Coolerworx Shifter
Our Coolerworx Shifter X-Clutch Kit provides the basis for your MX-5 to shift reliably and precisely in order to get the most out of every moment on the racetrack.
Xtreme Clutch Stage 2: This clutch impresses with its maximum power transmission and extreme resilience, which enables seamless and efficient power transmission even under the toughest conditions.
Coolerworx Shortshifter Thermoplastic: With precise and short shifting distances, every shift is an experience. The Coolerworx Shortshifter ensures a direct and responsive shifting feel, which is essential for fast lap times. Thanks to the thermo-neutral shift knob, it does not heat up when exposed to constant noise on the race track.
The interaction of these components guarantees an outstanding driving experience in which the shifting feel and control of the clutch mesh harmoniously for an incomparable racetrack experience.

This performance package was developed by SPS
Motorsport on the racetrack, adapted for street use, and continuously refined.
All components are engineered in-house and used in our own race cars —
delivering maximum performance, uncompromising quality, and a clean, OEM-like
engine bay appearance.
Two Options – Parts Package or Full Installation
You can choose between two configurations:
Parts Package (without installation): Receive all components for self-installation.
ECU tuning, dyno protocol, and TÜV registration are not included.
Full Installation (with tuning &
registration): All components
are professionally installed at SPS Motorsport. The ECU is then
individually calibrated on our in-house dyno and on the road — including a
dyno protocol. Finally, the entire conversion is inspected and officially
registered at our facility. Registration is included in the price.
Power Upgrade to 230 HP
In Stage 1, we install our SPS turbo kit for the MX-5
NC along with a high-flow sports catalytic converter. To manage thermal load,
we add an upgraded water radiator and our oil cooler kit. For reliable power
delivery, a reinforced clutch is installed. The package also includes a full
oil change to Motalin 10W-60 HP Racing with a new filter.
Note: Full power output is only achieved when paired with
an exhaust system featuring a minimum pipe diameter of 55 mm. We recommend our
Group A exhaust system, which can be added as an accessory during checkout.
Without it, the 230 HP target will not be reached.

Anyone who has already booked a season or Race 1 can simply add Race 2 for €249.

Roadster Challenge Club NA
This class is for vehicles from the NA, NB, NBFL, NC, ND and 124 Spider generations. For the NA, NB and NBFL models, the engine power is arround 210 hp, while for the newer NC, ND and 124 Spider models, the upper limit is arround 200 hp. Mainly naturally aspirated engines are permitted. This class is aimed at vehicles that retain the original character of the MX-5, with minor performance upgrades and a focus on the series-production design.
Roadster Challenge Club 2WD
This class allows vehicles with a engine power arround 250 hp (NA/NB/NBFL) and 230 hp (NC/ND/124 Spider). Vehicles can be equipped with naturally aspirated engines as well as turbochargers or superchargers. More modifications are possible here than in the Club NA class, but the drive is limited to the rear axle.
Roadster Challenge Pro
This is the most powerful class, in which vehicles of the NA/NB/NBFL generation can have up to 350 hp and vehicles of the NC/ND/124 Spider generation can have up to 320 hp. This class allows the use of turbochargers or superchargers and offers the most extensive modification options in terms of engine, transmission and aerodynamics.
