All products, including the service package offered here, are developed by SPS Motorsport on the racetrack, adapted for the road, and constantly improved. We place the utmost importance on the quality of the installed parts and their functionality.
In our supercharger stage, we install a Rotrex C30-94 supercharger CCW including accessories to increase the power to 230HP/240Nm (ND1) and 256HP/265Nm (ND2). To keep the thermal conditions under control, we strongly recommend our MX-5 ND cooling package. A special performance clutch is always included in the package. Additionally, the package includes Motalin 5W-50 HP Sport (including a new oil filter).
The products can be installed by us. During installation, the control unit is adjusted and tuned on our test bench and on the road (test bench protocol included). Finally, the conversion is approved and TÜV registered.
Note: The power is only achieved when our header catalytic converter combination with our Group A exhaust system is installed. Registration is only possible in combination with these components or an exhaust system with EC type approval!If you already have some of these installed in your ND, you can simply deselect the corresponding options in the dropdown menu.
The kit cannot be combined with the Whiteline Performance sway bar kit but only fits with the Hardrace sway bar kit!
RecommendationsFor existing Piper Cams camshafts we recommend an 85mm pulley.
For track use or heavy loads, we recommend an NC gearbox conversion.
Development All performance packages are configured in-house. Whether you opt for light naturally aspirated tuning, individual throttle body conversion, or turbo conversion, the choice is yours. We use all products in our vehicles. All our race cars use parts from our performance packages. It was important to us during the development of the performance packages that they meet our customers' requirements, that the power delivery and the appearance in the engine bay are as close to stock as possible. All performance packages we sell can be registered and approved in-house (registration included in the installation price). We rely on what we consider to be the best components in the scene.
Support All performance packages installed by us receive lifetime support. Since we use and drive the products ourselves, as well as on the racetrack, we can help with almost any problem. If you have questions, ask us!

Performance Package MX-5 ND 2.0 – Naturally Aspirated
Stage 1 (180 HP)
This performance package was developed by SPS
Motorsport specifically for the Mazda MX-5 ND 2.0. Engineered on the racetrack,
adapted for the road, and continuously refined, it combines motorsport-grade
components with everyday drivability. Every part is used in our own race cars –
delivering authentic performance and uncompromising quality.
Power Upgrade to 180 HP
In our Stage 1 naturally aspirated setup, we install a
high-flow SPS Motorsport header with integrated sports catalytic converter.
This combination improves exhaust flow, enhances throttle response, and
delivers a clean power curve up to 180 HP.
Important: Full power output is only achieved when paired with
an exhaust system featuring a minimum pipe diameter of 55 mm. TÜV registration
is only possible with our Group A exhaust system, which can be added as an
accessory during checkout.
Two Options – Parts Package or Full Installation
You can choose between two configurations:
Parts Package
(without installation): Receive all components for self-installation. No
tuning, dyno protocol, or TÜV registration is included.
Full Installation
(with tuning & registration): All components are professionally installed at
SPS Motorsport. The ECU is then individually calibrated on our in-house
dyno and on the road – including a dyno protocol. Finally, the entire
conversion is inspected and officially registered at our facility.

All components are engineered in-house and used in our own race cars —
delivering maximum performance, uncompromising quality, and a clean, OEM-like
engine bay appearance.
Power Upgrade to 205 HP
In Stage 2, we install a high-flow SPS Motorsport
header with integrated sports catalytic converter, along with a set of Piper
Cams performance camshafts. The cam timing is precisely adjusted to ensure
optimal power delivery and high-revving response.
Note: Full power output is only achieved when paired with
an exhaust system featuring a minimum pipe diameter of 55 mm. We recommend our
Group A exhaust system, which can be added as an accessory during checkout. TÜV
registration is only possible with this configuration.
