These hangers were used by Mazda on the early 1979-85 RX-7 mufflers as part of a "rubber hanger/metal hanger" combination to secure the muffler to the chassis. While this arrangement was rather bulky and required multiple components, it did however allow for irregularities in the exhaust system fitment and provided excellent vibration dampening.
Racing Beat offers our hanger for use as a replacement for a failed or rusted stock unit. Produced from heavy gauge steel and zinc coated for excellent corrosion protection. If you are replacing the rubber hangers on your muffler, now is the time to complete a full upgrade to all new and much better looking metal hangers!
