Racing Beat's Road Racing Header for the 1984-92 RX-7 13B (6-Port) is the first step in building a serious racing exhaust system. The engine-to-pipe flange is laser cut from 1/2" thick hot-rolled steel. Like all of the headers we manufacture, the Road Racing Header is constructed with 2" OD mild steel tubing, .120" inch wall thickness, and mandrel-bent tubing throughout.

Outlet flange gaskets, bolts, and nuts are included. If needed, an engine-to-header gasket is available separately. An Air Control and Check Valve Cover Plate is required when using this header with a stock intake system. The Road Race Header can also be used as the basis for a custom streetable exhaust system in any car from 1971-92 (equipped with a 6-port engine), which allows simple swapping between street and race exhaust systems.

This header can used with the dual tube Street Port Center-Section Pipe:
1979-85 12A & 13B (except GSL-SE)
1984-85 GSL-SE.

Racing Beat Street Port Center Section 84-85 RX-7 GSL-SE

This Street Port Exhaust System Center Section for the 1984-85 RX-7 GSL-SE (6-Port) is the same component that comes equipped with our 1984-85 RX-7 13B GSL-SE Complete Street Port Exhaust System. This center section can be used as a replacement component in the Racing Beat system, or for use in your own custom exhaust system for your RX-7. Additionally, this center section is equipped with an exhaust pick-up tube, which is required for the correct operation of the 6-Port intake actuator valves. Gaskets are available, refer to end flange gasket and pick-up tube gasket for more information. This center section features two 2" OD tubes that each feed into a pair of 20" long Power Pulse Presilencers to moderate the rotary engine exhaust noise. Manufactured entirely in-house by Racing Beat.
