Our all-time popular turbo kit now at an unbeatable price! Reduced to the essentials you need for a turbo conversion. The components used are of course the same as in our standard turbo kits, but streamlined to keep the strain on your wallet as low as possible. For this reason, we have removed additional materials such as heat shielding, catch can, and mounting bolts from the parts list. These can be ordered separately if needed, ensuring the kit remains “upgradeable” to our standard kit later on.

Naturally, the kit is available for all engines and generations from NA to NBFL. All kits come preconfigured with our Stage 1 turbocharger, the standard intercooler, and the MS3 Mini Plus ECU tailored to the vehicle generation. Accordingly, the kit can also be registered without issue (using our Catch Can Kit) with our TÜV parts certificate (or emissions certificate, available only at our facility).

For NBFL models, please contact us before installation, as these ECUs require special firmware that is not compatible with standard basemaps.

All products, including this turbo kit, are developed by SPS Motorsport on the racetrack, adapted for street use, and continuously improved. We place the highest value on the quality and functionality of the installed components.

Development

All turbo kits are configured and packed in-house. We use all products in our own vehicles. All of our race cars run components from our turbo kits, or complete kits.

During development, it was important to us that the kits meet customer demands, deliver power smoothly, and maintain a near-OEM look in the engine bay. All turbo kits we sell can be registered and approved directly at our facility.

We rely on what we consider the best components available in the scene.

The kit comes complete with a matching basemap. It is not suitable for vehicles with air conditioning. For AC-equipped cars, we offer special conversions where the boost piping is custom-built directly on the vehicle. The downpipe fits directly to the OEM exhaust system and comes with the appropriate catalytic converter. We recommend combining the turbo kit with our Group A exhaust system or our 3-inch exhaust system.

Upgrade

All of our turbo kits are designed to be easily “upgradeable.” We provide full support and advice for any future upgrades.

The NA 1.6L kit can be installed on both the 115hp 1.6 NA and the 90hp 1.6 NA. On the 90hp base engine, expect a power deficit of approx. 15hp compared to the 115hp version.

MS3 Mini Wiring Harness (Optional): Precisely soldered, offering a plug-and-play solution for those who don’t want to build their own ECU harness.

Turbocharger Options

1.6 Liter:

  • SPS Stage 1 Turbo (Garrett GBC17-250): 220–250hp

1.8 Liter:

  • SPS Stage 1 Turbo (Garrett GBC20-300): 250–280hp

Performance figures apply only to track use. Please note: such output levels can only be TÜV-approved for public road use at our facility, as we must verify chassis strength. Minimum output applies to stock engines in good condition with required supporting mods (exhaust, etc.). Maximum output applies in combination with our complete engine build and required supporting mods.

Transmission limits:

  • 5-speed gearbox: max. 250hp & 300Nm
  • 6-speed gearbox: max. 320hp & 400Nm
  • BMW GS6-37BZ conversion: max. 500hp & 600Nm
