Product information "SPS Motorsport Group A exhaust system for MX-5 ND right outlet"

Our SPS Motorsport Group A exhaust system replaces the original rear and front silencers. The outer diameter of the piping is 63.5 mm. The systems are based on the absorption principle, meaning that perforated pipes run through the silencers. This results in lower exhaust back pressure and therefore an increase in power and torque.

Compared to the standard system, it produces a deeper and more powerful sound.

Upon request, we can also produce exhaust systems with tailpipes that differ from the ones specified above. The tailpipes listed above are merely our recommendations.

Recommended tailpipes:

Type 25: Double outlet on the right in 76mm with rounded, beveled inner edges

Type 14: Single outlet on the right in 76mm with sharply beveled inner edges

SPS Motorsport Exhaust manifold incl. catalytic converter MX-5 2.0L ND G160/G184

We finally have our own manifolds! You get a complete manifold kit including catalytic converter suitable for the 2.0L MX-5 ND G160/G184. A separate test including noise measurement during TÜV registration is required for use with other exhaust systems than OEM or SPS group A. The manifold & catalytic converter combination is directly suitable for your OEM or SPS Motorsport cat-back exhaust system. With this kit you get the following components: Exhaust Manifold suitable for MX-5 ND 2.0L G160/G184 Specially adapted catalytic converter pipe with catalytic converter Heat protection tape for winding the manifold 10x metal zip ties to attach the heat protection tape to the manifold 1x gasket suitable for the lower exhaust flange in the direction of the catalytic converter

Rear lip MX-5 ND ABS plastic

Rear lip suitable for MX-5 ND. The Rear lip is made of high quality ABS plastic, which has the advantage over GRP rear lips that it does not break directly when it comes into contact with a curb, for example. Nevertheless, the rear lip is dimensionally stable and is easy to install. The rear lip may be slightly out of shape due to storage and shipping. The rear lip can easily be brought back into shape with a heat gun during assembly and fitted accordingly.
