Since 1996, Takata's Japanese Motorsport Division (Takata Racing) has been developing and producing high-quality multi-point racing belts used by top racing teams in Japan and around the world. Based on the company's accumulated experience and general market demand, Takata Racing has expanded its global reach through a new and expanded product line developed by Takata Racing Europe.
The new product line breaks down into the series "RACE" and "DRIFT", both of which are produced entirely in Germany to the highest production standards. The belts of the "RACE" series are FIA homologated racing belts, while the "DRIFT" series only includes belts with ECE approval.
