Weber 48/51IDA Throttle Linkage Kit
This kit contains three important components for use during the installation of a Weber 48 or 51 IDA carburetor:
Throttle Cable Bracket
This polished stainless steel throttle cable bracket mounts to the base of the carburetor and correct positions and retains the throttle cable in alignment with the pickup point on the carburetor body. Easy-to-install, uses the carburetor base mounting hardware.
Throttle Cable Bell Crank
This fitting mounts to the end of the throttle shaft and retains the end of the throttle cable. This fitting rotates with the throttle shaft while winding and unwinding the cable on the curved section during acceleration and deceleration.
Shaft Lever with Limiting Stop Pin
Mounted on the throttle shaft between the Throttle Bell Crank and carburetor body is the Shaft Lever with Limit Stop Pin. This critical component incorporates a limiting stop pin, and when adjusted correctly using the set screw on the carburetor body, limits the maximum rotation of the throttle shaft to prevent damage of the shaft due to over-rotation under hard use.
