6-speed sequential racing gearbox from Quaife, fits MX-5 NA / NB / NBFL. The gearbox can be mounted in the MX-5 NA / NB / NBFL Plug and Play (except for the construction of a holder at the bottom of the gearbox output). The gearbox is used by us in several racing cars and has been tested by us in racing. The raised gear lever makes it possible to perform gear changes without having to take your hand off the steering wheel for a long time. In addition, by installing a sensor, a gear indicator in the dashboard and an automatic ignition interruption when switching can be retrofitted. This allows shifting without having to take your foot off the accelerator pedal. The only 38-kilogram, straight-toothed transmission allows ultra-fast gear changes, as no classic H-circuit is used to select the gear. Instead, the shift lever is pulled up and pushed down to shift only. The gearbox is officially designed for 375 hp. The unlocking of the reverse gear is done by pulling up the sliding sleeve on the shift lever on which a cable releases the switching of the reverse gear.
