Performance Package MX-5 NA Rocketeer V6

This package brings the legendary Jaguar AJ30 V6 into your MX-5 NA. With up to 270 HP, the 3.0L naturally aspirated engine delivers a powerful, high-revving setup paired with a custom sports catalytic converter, thermal management, and programmable ECU. Developed on the racetrack, refined for the road — uncompromising in quality, performance, and aesthetics.

Three Options: Parts Package (with or without engine) or Full Installation

You can choose between three configurations:

• Parts Package with Engine: Includes all components plus a freshly rebuilt Jaguar AJ30 V6 engine for self-installation. Ideal for experienced builders. ECU tuning, dyno protocol, and TÜV registration are not included.
• Parts Package without Engine: Includes all conversion components without the engine. Perfect if you already have a suitable AJ30 or plan to build your own.
• Full Installation (with tuning & registration): All components are professionally installed at SPS Motorsport. The ECU is individually calibrated on our in-house dyno and on the road — including dyno protocol. The conversion is then inspected and officially registered at our facility. Registration is included in the price.

Included services with full installation:

• Installation of the Rocketeer V6 conversion with Jaguar 3.0L AJ30 engine
• Installation and bleeding of the SPS oil cooler
• Installation of the SPS aluminum radiator

Power Output up to 270 HP

This setup delivers a broad powerband, linear throttle response, and a rich exhaust note. Ideal for drivers seeking everyday drivability with serious performance and full TÜV approval.

Exhaust System Requirement

⚠️ Full power is only achieved with an exhaust system featuring a minimum pipe diameter of 55 mm. We recommend our Group A exhaust system, which can be added as an accessory during checkout. Without it, full performance will not be reached.

Registration & Certification

⚠️ This package can only be registered in combination with the OEM exhaust system or our Group A exhaust system. Other setups have not been tested and may not be eligible for TÜV registration. If in doubt, please contact us via email beforehand to ensure smooth registration.

Upgradeable & Modular

Our conversion packages are modular and fully upgradeable. If you decide to expand your setup later, we’ll provide the right support and advise you on meaningful upgrades — whether it’s ITBs, turbocharging, or trackday optimization.
