If you're installing a replacement muffler on your RX-7 12A it's probably about time you update your mounting hardware! Ensure the correct fitment of your muffler on the RX-7 chassis with a set of new, fresh rubber hangers and metal support plates.

Included with the kit are the following items:

Four (4) Mazda OEM rubber hangers - These hangers are positioned at the front and rear of the muffler canister and align the muffler tips within the bumper opening. (One position uses two hangers.)

Three (3) Racing Beat metal hangers - Patterned after the now-discontinued Mazda OEM part, these Racing Beat metal hangers mount between the chassis and the rubber hangers. (We'll even throw in two of the replacement bolts.)

Racin Beat - Exhaust Hanger Support - Metal 79-85 RX-7 Muffler

These hangers were used by Mazda on the early 1979-85 RX-7 mufflers as part of a "rubber hanger/metal hanger" combination to secure the muffler to the chassis. While this arrangement was rather bulky and required multiple components, it did however allow for irregularities in the exhaust system fitment and provided excellent vibration dampening. Racing Beat offers our hanger for use as a replacement for a failed or rusted stock unit. Produced from heavy gauge steel and zinc coated for excellent corrosion protection. If you are replacing the rubber hangers on your muffler, now is the time to complete a full upgrade to all new and much better looking metal hangers! Three (3) hangers required for each muffler. Foam Air Filter Element 71-85 carbureted rotaries and Racing Beat Holley Kits

The Racing Beat-designed Foam Air Filter Element for all 1971-85 Rotaries (except 1984-85 GSL-SE) consists of a polyurethane foam over a metal screen form that interchanges exactly with the stock element. The foam element can be re-used by periodically cleaning in solvent and re-oiling. While the element offers no significant increase in air flow when compared to a clean, stock paper element, as the paper element collects dirt its air flow capacity decreases dramatically while the foam element is nearly unaffected.
