Silver’s Suspension Coilovers: NEOMAX, LITECH & SUPER LOW Explained | SPS Motorsport

Silver's Suspension has made it its goal since 1999 to build the ultimate performance suspension for every vehicle. The company was originally founded by a racing driver because he could not find any coilovers on the market that would meet his requirements. So without further ado he founded the brand "Silver's Suspension".

Since then, the Silver's brand has combined the passion for racing with the necessary know-how for individual vehicles and thus builds high-quality coilovers at an affordable price. Every single component is developed and manufactured in Silver's construction halls. The coilovers are then assembled by hand and tested on the in-house damper test bench to ensure consistently high quality.

 

The coilovers can basically be divided into six types for different purposes:

NEOMAX:

The NEOMAX is a coilover system optimized for road drivers. The spring rates and the damper setup are chosen for a sporty road driver with sufficient residual comfort. The coilover has a combined rebound and compression adjustment of 24 clicks. The height adjustment is independent of the compression and rebound travel.

 

NEOMAX-S:

The NEOMAX-S is built for drivers who move their vehicle both on the racetrack and on the road (approx. 30/70 racetrack/road). The suspension is tighter than the NEOMAX and is therefore perfect for drivers who move their car to the racetrack on their own axis. Here you have is a combined rebound and compression adjustment of 40 clicks. The vehicle height can also be defined independently of the compression and rebound travel.

 

NEOMAX-R:

With the NEOMAX-R, Silver's offers the performance suspension for drivers who really rarely move their vehicle on the road and correspondingly often on the race track (20/80 split road/race track). Due to the tight damper and spring combination, the suspension behaves very well on the racetrack, but with a loss in residual comfort. Here, too, the rebound and compression stage adjustment is divided into 40 clicks and the height adjustment is decoupled from the spring preload.

 

NEOMAX 2-Way:

The NEOMAX 2-Way is the suspension when it comes to pure racetrack operation. Thanks to the external reservoirs, the damping values always remain the same because the oil has room to expand and the external reservoirs also help to cool the oil. Here the rebound stage (40 clicks) can be adjusted independently of the compression stage (24 clicks). As with all Silver's coilovers, the vehicle height can be adjusted independently of the spring preload.

 

LITECH:

The LITECH series from Silver's is the lightweight solution for all vehicles. The aluminum shock absorbers generate an extremely low weight with optimal heat dissipation. So if you try to get the last gram out of your car, you can't ignore the LITECH series from Silver's! As in the NEOMAX series, we have a combined rebound and compression stage adjustment with 40 clicks, the height adjustment can be made decoupled from the spring preload, which means that you have constant compression and rebound travel at different heights.

 

SUPER LOW:

The Super Low suspension was developed for vehicles with fender flares, wide bodies or just for extremely low cars (and those who want to become one). The design is specially designed for a short construction. The rebound and compression level adjustment can be set in 24 levels. The desired height (or in this case depth) can be adjusted independently of the spring preload.

Silver's Neomax-R Coilover MX-5 NC

The Silver's Neomax R suspension is our direct replacement for the SPS Motorsport Performance coilovers for MX-5 NC. We recommend this coilover setup for drivers who use their vehicle 20% on the road and 80% on the racetrack. The coilover kit is designed for regular track use. For more daily use, we recommend another coilover setup from the Neomax series. The hardness of the shock absorbers is adjusted using adjuster wheels on the topmount. The height is adjusted by screwing the actual damper into the lower sleeve and is therefore completely independent of the setting of the spring preload.
