This radiator is suitable for Mazda MX-5 NA. In discreet black, it makes every MX-5 NA engine compartment an absolute eye-catcher. Thanks to the high-flow core, we were able to achieve very good cooling results compared to competing products in our intensive tests, in order to ensure that the engine remains cool even under higher loads. We recommend this radiator for 50% road use and up to 50% race track use.

The housings of the radiator are fully welded and not jammed like the original radiator. With original radiators, the clamping points tend to leak. The core size is 62.5x32cm. The thickness of the radiator is 6cm.

Of course, the radiator is attached to the original points and can therefore be installed plug and play. The original fan shrouds can also be attached plug and play to the welded threaded pieces. The cooler is compatible with all of our conversions.

Summarized, we offer a radiator that is compatible for all conversions from our company and is recommended for all vehicles that are not exclusively driven on the racetrack.

In addition to this radiator, we of course also offer the matching fan shroud kit. Before installing, please check whether the lower drain plug is tightened and, if necessary, tighten it carefully.

Front Air Duct MX-5 NA

Due to the high demand and our experience on the racetrack, we decided to build our own air ducts for the front of the MX-5. The air ducts are used to make the best possible use of the airflow and to flow precisely to the radiator and intercooler. For this purpose, we have scanned the front of the MX-5's 3D in order to produce a perfectly fitting air duct in OEM quality. Then the prototypes were 3D printed and adjusted again on the vehicle and possible errors corrected. So we can finally bring an absolutely flawless product onto the market. The air duct consists of 2 parts which are made of ABS plastic. In this way, the ducting can be easily adapted to modifications that do not come from our company. The lower part replaces the original front part of the air duct in the bumper and is attached to the original points. The upper part allows the air to flow upwards in order to use the full surface of the radiator. In our tests, we were able to reduce the water temperature by up to 25 ° C and the intake air temperature (for turbo and supercharger conversions) by up to 15 ° C. The product has been extensively tested in motorsport as well as on the road, which enabled us to improve its functionality even further. The ducting is suitable for all of our conversions sold by SPS Motorsport. Cutouts for piping for turbo conversions and supercharger conversions can be created through pre-shaped areas in order to be able to operate OEM cars as well as turbo and compressor conversions with one product and to keep all options for conversions open to you. So if a conversion is planned in the future, but you want to reduce your temperatures on the racetrack or while driving sportily on the street, this is your perfect product. For use with power steering there might be modifications necessary. The matching hood vents can be purchased under "add additional parts" so that the hot air can also be appropriately diverted from the engine compartment. CAUTION! SPS Fan Shroud Kit MX-5 NA

We finally have our own fan shrouds! This fan shroud is suitable for MX-5 NA. Suitable for our own radiators as well as for the Mishimoto radiators and OEM radiators. The fan shroud is equipped with two 80 watt 29.5cm fans, which are then attached to the cooler in suction direction. Of course, the fan shroud can be combined with all of our in-house conversions. The fan shroud is recommended for street use and up to 10% track use. These fan shrouds are rather unsuitable for pure racetrack use, as the increased air mass at high speed creates a dynamic pressure that the fans may not be able to dissipate. For fast road passages as well as track days or tourist trackdays, however, absolutely perfect, as the hot air of the entire cooling surface can be diverted when the vehicle is stationary.
