MS Labs Drive by Wire module for using an electronically controlled throttle body in combination with an MS3. Using an electronically controlled throttle body offers many advantages over a conventional throttlebody. For example, the idle can be adjusted very well, even in heavily modified vehicles, since the throttle body functions as an idle controller. In addition, functions such as automatic blip when downshifting and traction control can be applied very easily with an electronic throttle body.

SPS DBW Adapter - Throttle Body

The SPS Motorsport Drive-by-Wire Throttle Body Adapter for the MX-5 NA/NB 1.8-liter engine is a component for converting older MX-5 generations to Drive-by-Wire. Compared to the traditional cable-operated throttle body, which can quickly break or lose precision in the high temperatures common on the racetrack, the Drive-by-Wire system offers tangible advantages. There are no mechanical cables that can stretch or wear out. This means that even in extreme heat, your vehicle always maintains control – a decisive safety and performance advantage when it matters. Please note: The NC throttle body is not included in the kit and must be purchased separately.
