SPS Motorsport Differential Oil Cooling Set

Product information "SPS Motorsport Differential Oil Cooling Set"

Set for retrofitting a differential oil cooling at NA / NB / NBFL. The set includes the oil cooler, oil pump, hoses and all necessary mounting hardware. The kit is designed so that the pump is installed in the boot and the radiator is mounted behind the rear bumper. There are no additional holes to be made in the differential, since we use the openings for filling and discharging the differential oil, there to suck the oil with the pump and to lead back into the differential. Hose hoses must be drilled in the spare wheel well to carry out the hoses. We use the set just like that in our racing cars and it has proven itself for years in racing.

KAAZ differential lock MX-5 NA / NB
The reliable and highly competitive KAAZ limited slip differential has been proven in professional racing vehicles around the world. Do not settle for less than the industry-leading KAAZ Limited Slip Differential.This KAAZ LSD for MX-5 NA / NB / NBFL 1989-2005 offers a huge upgrade and impressive, consistent performance.We also use KAAZ locking differentials in our racing cars, which means that we could gain experience with the differentials, which we can now pass on to you. In addition, we have convinced ourselves so of the product itself and found that the differentials can withstand high loads, such as racing. We recommend to replace the oil every two years. Super Q (WPC treatment)Each Kaaz limited slip differential is offered in a SuperQ variant. SuperQ units chatter less and offer smoother engagement, resulting in an improved driving experience. With WPC metal treatment, SuperQ differentials also provide better heat dissipation and longer life without the need for a retraction process. Like all other Kaaz limited-slip differentials, the SuperQ units allow you to set the closing rate.   1,5 Way vs. 2 Way   A 1.5 way limited slip differential was designed for circuit racing. The differential locks fully to the set value when accelerating and locks half of the set value without load and under braking. This results in more stable cornering compared to the 2-way differential.   A 2-way limited slip differential is the LSD upgrade option designed primarily for drift vehicles. It is called 2-Way because it works equally under acceleration and deceleration and locks with the set locking value both ways. OEM differentials vs. Kaaz differentialsMost factory differentials are open, which means that the power is sent to the wheel that has the least resistance. This allows the wheels to rotate at different speeds, for example in a curve. The power transmission is however inefficient. This results in unicycle burnouts at start-up and unintentional wheel spin when accelerating out of the turn.Some manufacturers equip certain vehicles with viscous differentials. This is a type of limited slip differential which should offer the advantages of an open differential, but without the disadvantages of undesirable wheel spin. This is achieved by a series of plates separated by a viscous fluid, which optimizes the power distribution sent to the wheels. Although this is more favorable for performance than an open unit, a viscous limited slip differential can not know where to direct the power until a wheel begins to slip.Clutch disc A: 6Clutch plate B: 6Cone springs: 2Factory torque: 5.5-8.5 (kg-m)     The limited slip differential can be flexibly adjusted to the customer's wishes thanks to the possibility of adjusting the locking degree. Set for retrofitting a transmission oil cooling at NA / NB / NBFL. The set includes the oil cooler, oil pump, hoses and all necessary mounting hardware. The kit is designed so that the pump is installed in the boot and the radiator is mounted behind the rear bumper. There are no additional holes to be made in the gearbox, as we use the openings to fill and drain the gearbox oil to suck in the oil with the pump and return it to the gearbox. Hose hoses must be drilled in the spare wheel well to carry out the hoses.
