Eunos Cosmo
The Eunos Cosmo (1990–1995) was Mazda’s most luxurious coupé of the 1990s and
the only production car to feature the 20B three-rotor rotary engine. Depending
on the variant, the 2.0-liter twin-rotor (13B) produced around 230 hp, while
the 20B with twin-turbo setup delivered up to 280 hp. The Cosmo featured
rear-wheel drive, a comfort-tuned suspension with independent setup, and disc
brakes all around. Curb weight: approx. 1,600–1,700 kg. Highlights: touchscreen
interface, GPS navigation (revolutionary at the time), premium interior, and a
unique blend of rotary performance and luxury – offered exclusively in the
Japanese domestic market.
