Swivel Gasket Multi-application

Swivel Connection Ring Gasket - This replacement gasket is used on Mazda's OE style flanges that incorporate a swivel-style pipe exhaust pipe connection. These joints are typically found at the outlet end of the stock exhaust manifold or downpipe section, just behind the primary catalytic converter section. These connections incorporate a series of mounting studs and retaining springs which allow the two pipe sections to pivot and flex with the movement of the engine or chassis.

This replacement gasket can be used in place of the stock Mazda gasket. While these gaskets should last many years, these gaskets may become difficult to remove during an exhaust upgrade project and damage to the brittle gasket material may occur.
