Coilover kit specially developed by Silver's Suspension in cooperation with SPS Motorsport for the Mazda MX-5 NC with softtop, hardtop as well as retractable hardtop. The Silver's Neomax R suspension is our direct replacement for the SPS Motorsport Performance coilovers for MX-5 NC. We recommend this coilover setup for drivers who use their vehicle 20% on the road and 80% on the racetrack. The coilover kit is designed for regular track use. For more daily use, we recommend another coilover setup from the Neomax series.
The hardness of the shock absorbers is adjusted using adjuster wheels on the topmount. The height is adjusted by screwing the actual damper into the lower sleeve and is therefore completely independent of the setting of the spring preload. Of course, we also use the coilover setup ourselves in the company's vehicles, which has helped Silver's Suspension to optimize the suspension in order to be able to deliver you a unique top product.
While using the OEM front strut bar, the strut bar might collide with the dampening adjuster. In this case simply modify the strut bar or use a strut bar, where the top part above the dampening adjuster is open.
