Pierburg CWA400 electric water pump including tinyCWA module for use in motorsport vehicles or vehicles with very high thermal loads. An electric water pump enables constant cooling regardless of the engine speed. As a result, the vehicle no longer overheats when the vehicle is stationary, where the pumping capacity of the mechanical water pump is at its lowest. In addition, depending on the electrical circuit, after-cooling can be achieved after the engine has been switched off, since the electric water pump can continue to circulate the coolant in the cooling system without engine speed.

The Tecomotive “tinyCWA” is able to control all CWA type electric water pumps (eWP) in the appropriate manner.
It is suitable for cars or any other thing where smart cooling is required.

When activated the controller is measuring the current coolant temperature and the rate of increase with the connected
temperature sensor.
With this data it then calculates the appropriate water flow and sends a signal to the pump where the internal pump electronics then set it to the right speed. This way you will always have the right pump speed for any circumstances.

We developed this product with very special attention to quality, operational safety, ease of use and a very nice appearance.

The compact and robust case measures only 45x45x12mm. (1.77x1.77x1/2inches)

The CWA400 is the next development stage of the very successful principle the CWA200 used.
(A brushless and fully canned motor for instance)
This pump is supplying more than double the hydraulic performance at nearly the same dimensions.
Suitable mainly for engine cooling in combustion engine vehicles.
